- Summary
- Motif writing is a symbol system for writing movement concepts which springs from Rudolf Laban's movement notation system Labanotation but differs in that its purpose is to stimulate movement exploration and creative work rather than to record movement in detail. Valerie Preston-Dunlop and Ann Hutchinson Guest are the two people responsible for developing it.
