Note
  • The Guelph treasure, an ecclesiastical collection of 12th to 15th century goldwork begun by members of the houses of Brunon and of Guelph, passed from the cathedral of St. Blasius into the hands of Duke John Frederick of Hanover in 1671, and remained in the Court Chapel at Hanover until 1803. Since then, frequent removals of the relics to other places have been made. In 1930 they were offered for sale.
