Summary
A look at Botswana, Africa where the Savuti Channel slowly disappears. Reputed to be a vast lake, the channel appeared in 1957, and then mysteriously began to vanish again in 1982. Film follows the gradual but unrelenting transformation of a onetime paradise into a land of struggle and competition for the animals whose lives depend on the channel.
