- Summary
- Illustrations constist of 37 stereotype copies of woodcuts designed by Albrecht Dürer for the original edition, comprising illustration on facsimile of original title page and 36 full-page images. Thirty-five were printed from stereotypes made from the 35 original woodcut blocks that had been acquired by the British Museum; the remaining two (title page image and "Jesus parting from his mother before his sufferings") were engraved by Thurston Thompson after the original prints. See Preface.

Original colophon reads: Impressum Nurnberge : Per Albertu[m] Durer pictore[m], [1511] (date expresed in Latin words).
