Summary
Ethnographic study of Lai haraoba, an annual ritual festival celebrated by the people of the Manipur valley, including the Meitheis. This recording, which has no narration, focuses on the dancing performed by the maibis, leaders of the ritual, whose movements include 364 khutheks (hand gestures).
