[The petition of the state of Louisiana represented by A.P. Field, attorney general of said state, upon the information of John C. Moncure, joined with said state as plaintiff, herein respectfully represent: that Antoine Dubuclet is now occupying and holding the office of treasurer of the state of Louisiana by virtue of and under color of a commission from the governor of the state of Louisiana, dated December 31st, 1874; that John C. Moncure, one of the plaintiffs herein, is the duty elected treasurer of the state of Louisiana.
