- Summary
- Promotional videotape. Esaias Johnson, a dancer, choreographer and teacher, talks about her background and the development of her own dance form, Po Mo Funk, which melds elements of ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, and African dance. Examples of her work are seen in studio rehearsal, in stage performance, and in class. Among them is a solo from Angels, a full-length work recently premiered by her Miami-based company, Dance Esaias.
