- This edition has royal privilege, dated June 28, 1691, on p. [19-24] (1st group); without the 1697 privilege. "Ap[p]rend" in title spelled with one "p"; "troisiême" in edition statement has circumflex accent; "monté[e]" in publisher's address spelled without final "e."
- In Bitting and Folger copies of this edition, p. 505 is numbered "509." Bitting copy has 2 plates only; lacks all after p. [39] of final unpaged group.
- Another edition, also called 3rd ed., with varying collation and orthographic variants on t.p., has the 1691 privilege commencing on the verso of the last p. of the index, followed by the 1697 privilege.
- Type flower ornament on t.p.; woodcut and type flower head- and tailpieces; ornamental initials. This edition is without the publisher's device on t.p.
