Summary

Concert of instrumental music. The evening's guest artist, tap dancer Noel Parenti, performs his own choreography with the orchestra to Morton Gould's Concerto for tap dancer and orchestra (beginning at ca. 27 min. into the tape). Gould takes a bow at the end of the concerto. Immediately following, Parenti and his partner Karen Joy McCormick dance a duet, wearing divers' flippers, to Scott Joplin's The entertainer.
