Narrated by Fred Allen, it also includes Fields performing some of his comedy sketches as well as commentary by his biographer, Robert Lewis Taylor. Begins with an advertisement for "Swing and sway with Sammy Kaye," an episode of the radio program "NBC Bandstand."
