  • Date is period of activity according to Ulrich Thieme and Felix Becker, Allgemeines lexikon der bildenden künstler, v. 32; however B24 and B26 are dated 1870 in the plate.
  • B28, B29, B30 and B31 bear note in pencil "Subercaze retouched by Jacque. B33 bears note by Hector Giacomelli "Dessin de Ch. Jacque, Subercaze d'après ---" The last word is illegible.
