  • The translation of Jacobus Angelus, revised and edited by Marcus Beneventanus and Joannes Cotta; previously issued in 1507 without the "new map of the world designed on the conical projection by Johann Ruysch" (cf. Sabin) and Beneventanus' "Noua orbis descriptio," included here.
  • The twenty-seven maps of the ancient world were printed from the copper plates (used for the 1478 and 1490 Rome editions, q.v.) which were begun by Conrad Sweynheym and completed by Arnoldus Buckinck. The six modern maps and the Ruysch map are also copper engravings.
