- Summary
- After the opening performance of the dance by a group of adults and children, tap dancer Leonard Reed recalls how he and his partner Willie Bryant created the shim sham shimmy in 1927, and his subsequent creation of the shim sham II in February 1994. Rusty Frank then teaches three choruses of the shim sham shimmy: the shim sham shimmy, the freeze chorus, and the shim sham II.
