Summary

Miscellaneous prints, many reproductive after Amaury-Duval, Eugen von Blaas, Jules Breton, John Collier, Henry William Banks Davis, Sir Luke Fildes, Franc̦ois Flameng, William Powell Frith, Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, Alexis Joseph Mazerolle, Alfred Parsons, Rembrandt Harmenzoon van Rijn and Peter Paul Rubens. Subjects include antenuptial contracts, Antiochus and Stratonice, cows, dolls, horses, human dissection, Jesus Christ, landscapes, nudes, peasants, pharisees, printing presses of Jean Grolier, race tracks, scythes, title pages, wagers, wagons and widowers.
Also included are portraits of Thomas Bewick, Charles Darwin, Thomas Henry Huxley, Marie de Médicis and Peter Paul Rubens. Many prints are present in more than one state. Some prints bear remarques and one print is a bon à tirer proof.
