- Gwen Verdon talks about her first successful performances working with choreographers Jack Cole, Michael Kidd, and finally Bob Fosse, and her roles in the musicals Damn Yankees, New girl in town, Redhead, and Sweet Charity.
- Marian Seldes discusses her first studies with Sanford Meisner at New York City's Neighborhood Playhouse, the acting technique taught by Meisner, her own teaching at the Juilliard School, her long runs in Equus and Deathtrap, how it felt to play a role for almost five years, and Edward Albee writing a role for her in A delicate balance.
- Elizabeth McCann talks about producing the Royal Shakespeare Company's plays in the United States, bringing Nicholas Nickleby here, the different strengths and styles of producers, her experiences working with Vanessa Redgrave in Tennessee Williams' Orpheus descending, the economics of producing on Broadway, and the critical need for money for experimentation, new playwrights, and new productions.
- Geraldine Fitzgerald discusses her career's start at the Gate Theatre in Dublin, Ireland, working in Hollywood, moving on to Broadway where she played in many of Eugene O'Neill's plays, especially Long day's journey into night, later directing this play, her direction of Bill Davis' Mass appeal, and her own preparation for directing a play.
