- The "Florentine enigma" was proposed by Vincenzo Viviani; this response is reprinted from the Acta eruditorum (June 1692), p. 274-279, with a prefatory letter added, dated "Hanoverae, d. 28 Maji a. 1692", addressed to Ferdinando de' Medici, prince of Tuscany.
- With inscription on t.-p. to Jacques Bernoulli, supposed to have been written by the author.
