Signatures: A⁶, B⁴, a-d⁸, e⁴, f⁶.
Suggestion of "America" as name for the newly discovered lands on sig. a₃a and a₅b.
This work, intended to acccompany Waldseemüller's globe and wall map, has been attributed to Ringmann instead of Waldseemüller by some authorities.--cf. Laubenberger, F. Ringmann oder Waldseemüller? (In: Erdkunde. Bonn. Bd. 13 (1959) p. 163-179).
Second edition, presumably; without Ringmann's verses and with "Gymnasivm [sic] Vosagense" substituted for Waldseemüller's name in the dedication, which begins on the verso of the t.-p. Except for the reprinted signature A the work is identical with the other edition of 25 April 1507.
