- Dedication, signed William Vaughan, states that the first part of the work is translated by John Florio; the translator of the second part cannot be revealed; and the third part is translated by William Vaughan himself. In this dedic. he says: And because my chiefest cares for many yeeres haue beene fixt vpon that most hopefull Plantation in the Iland commonly called The New-found Land, I entituled this Worke The New-found Politicke.
