- The traditional attribution to the Carmelite Henry Parker (see Dictionary of National Biography and Cambridge bibliography of English literature) was refuted by H.G. Richardson in Notes and queries, series 11, v. 4 (1911), pages 321-323. For further discussion, see Richardson, H.G. "Dives and pauper," in The library, v. 15, no. 1 (June 1934), pages 31-37; Catalogue of books printed in the XVth century now in the British Museum, v. 11, page 272.
- Gothic type (Proctor 9782); 2 columns (except table of contents), 36-37 lines. With headlines, initial indicators, ornamental initials in several sizes and signature marks; without catchwords and foliation.
- Signatures: [superscript pi]a-b⁶, a-v⁸ A-I⁸. Leaves [superscript pi]a1 and a1 blank; leaves c1-4 wrongly signed c2-5.
- The last leaf bears Pynson's device. Ornamental woodcut initials.
