v.2 has title-page: "A summary ... of the first planting ... of the British settlements in North-America. By William Douglass ... Vol. II. Part I. ... Boston: Printed and sold by Daniel Fowle ... 1751," followed by a leaf of "Contents of Vol. II, Part I," covering p. 1-296. The remainder of the volume, p. 297-416, left unfinished at the author's death in October 1752, is without title-page and table of contents.
