Interview with Rennie Harris, artistic director of the Philadelphia-based hip-hop company Rennie Harris PureMovement. He discusses his concept of hip-hop as concert dance, and some of his experiments with the form, such as combining hip-hop with traditional drumming or chanting, and making hip-hop works for ballet or modern dancers.
