- Notice of a Bible, printed at Edinburgh 1764, brought aboard the ship Bounty, Dec. 23, 1787, by a sailor, and to Pitcairn Island in 1789, where it remained until 1839; presented May 24, 1924 to the New York Public Library by the heirs of Rev. Daniel Miner Lord, the Bible's last private owners.
