Summary
David Parsons discusses his promotion from an understudy role to cast member in the Paul Taylor Dance Company, particularly his difficulties in the works Runes and Dust. Bettie De Jong and David Parsons discuss Diggity and Nightshade, elaborating on the choreographic process for Nightshade. Parsons discusses adapting to the movement style of Paul Taylor, interspersed with DeJong's description of the rehearsal process and comraderie of the company members. Both discuss the difference in Russian and American audience reception and response; finding a new Paul Taylor studio;and hopes for the future.
