- Summary
- The work, in modern editions usually called Libro de los juegos, was commissioned and its creation overseen by King Alfonso X of Castile and Leon, "the Wise." It was created in Seville in 1283 and is preserved in manuscript T.I.6 (formerly j.T. 6 Fol.) of the Real Biblioteca of the Escorial, containing 194 pages of text illustrated with 150 miniatures.
