Summary

Documentary footage of a visit to Prague made by Nederlands Dans Theater. In an interview, the company's artistic director and choreographer, Czech-born Jiri Kylian, expresses his pleasure at returning to his homeland. He and the company members are seen being greeted at the airport and at a reception, sightseeing, and paying a visit to the studio where Kylian studied ballet in his youth, as well as rehearsing and performing onstage at the Smetana Theater in Prague. A complete recording of Kylian's Overgrown path (music, Leoš Janáček ; scenery and costumes, Walter Nobbe) begins at ca. 17 min. into the tape.
