Summary
Unedited footage of interviews recorded for Tribute, a television obituary of Rudolf Nureyev. The interviewees share their perceptions of Nureyev as a dancer, choreographer, and private person. Describing him as a "phenomenal musician," he discusses Nureyev as choreographer (specifically mentioning Don Quixote, and Romeo and Juliet) and conductor. He also recalls the impact of Nureyev's arrival on the Royal Ballet's male dancers, and the company's rise in status caused by the partnership of Nureyev and Fonteyn.
