Summary
Unedited footage of interviews recorded for Tribute, a television obituary of Rudolf Nureyev. The interviewees discuss their perceptions of Nureyev as a dancer, choreographer, and private person. He is credited with changing the public perception of the male dancer, bringing dance to a wider audience, leading others to share his devotion to classical academic dancing, and breaking down the barriers between classical ballet and modern dance. Also discussed is his partnership with Margot Fonteyn. Each interviewee also contributes the special insights of his own standpoint.
