News report on Rudolf Nureyev's return to Russia, 28 years after his defection. In addition to the interview footage, Nureyev is seen practicing in the Kirov Ballet's studios ; touring the Hermitage art museum ; being reunited with his first ballet teacher, Anna Ivanovna Udeltsova [erroneously called Anna Ivanova on tape] ; and revisiting the Kirov Ballet School, where he studied.
