Summary
Miscellaneous etched book illustrations by Charles Jacque including illustrations for Les Mystères de Paris by Eugène Sue and the works of Sir Walter Scott. Subjects include a blacksmith, a dwarf, a flying horse and a hanging. One print, after a painting by Lepoittevin, depicts Willem (?) van de Velde sketching a naval battle from the deck of a ship.
