Interview 1: Philip Jerry discusses his inspiration to become a dancer including his impressions of the Joffrey Ballet and the New York City Ballet; the restructuring of the Joffrey Ballet, its effect on casting and the resultant look of the company; the Joffrey Ballet's production of John Cranko's Taming of the shrew; the importance of presence and individuality for dancers; Joffrey II Company; his hopes for the future. Interview 2: Ann Marie De Angelo discusses her work as a choreographer; Cranko's Taming of the shrew; her responsibilities as a dancer for Joffrey Ballet; Sir Frederick Ashton's choreography; the Joffrey II Company; how she began dancing for Joffrey Ballet; her time away from the company; her hopes for the future.
