Rifai, who progressed to classes with sighted students and subsequently won a scholarship at the school, discusses how dance has changed his life. He is seen performing a solo he choreographed. Alvin Ailey and Wendy Amos, instructor of the "New visions" class, discuss Rifai's achievements.
