Frederic Franklin discusses Edward Villella's dance injuries; Franklin's early childhood and family influences; his early training and performance with the Lancashire Lads; his performances with Josephine Baker; Mistinguett; his ballet training in London; his experience with the Markova-Dolin Ballet Company; his partnership with Alexandra Danilova; his role dancing in Gaîté Parisienne for Leonid Massine's Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo; his efforts staging Schéhérazade on Dance Theater of Harlem.
