- Panelists discuss sexism in the theatre as each has experienced it during her own career, whether overtly expressed through hiring practices or more subtly, through criticism and behavior. The emphasis is on discrimination towards professional women who direct, write plays, and/or produce them. The paucity of female directors and playwrights is analyzed. A question and answer session with the audience concludes the program.
