- Summary
- This videotape was found in the collection of Rudolf Nureyev after his death. Nureyev was a guest artist with the National Ballet of Canada in 1979, and may have acquired this tape then. Nureyev's own adaptation of Washington Square was first presented by the Paris Opéra Ballet in 1985, with different music, scenery and costumes.
