Anton Dolin discusses dancing with Alexandra Danilova; his early career in theatre and his transition to dance; his work dancing for Bronislava Nijinska; his role in Nijinska'a Le train bleu; his first piece of choreography, Rhapsody in blue to music by George Gershwin; he discusses how pieces of choreography are preserved and passed to other generations of dancers; working with Serge Diaghilev and his process of re-working Leonide Massine's Zéphire et Flore; working with Gertrude Lawrence; his book about Olga Spessivtseva, entitled The sleeping ballerina; Marina Eglevsky's dancing and his new work, Variations for four plus four.
