- Summary
- In video documentation made after performances in November 1987, Buzz Miller (off-camera) directs three dancers in the jazz dance work Time capsule, which may have been choreographed by Jack Cole and reconstructed by Miller, or choreographed by Miller as a tribute to Cole. Much of the choreography was performed by a larger ensemble of men and women. Miller occasionally describes the action onstage or identifies the sections by name (e.g., "hurricane," "pots and pans," "lindy"). Complete performances of Time capsule appear on *MGZIA 4-4845 and 4-4846, both titled Time capsule.
