Translation of: Lettres de M. de Voltaire a ses amis du Parnasse, originally published in 1766. First English ed. published London : T. Davies, J. Wheble, 1770.
In a pamphlet titled "Appel au public contre un recueil de prétendues lettres de M. de Voltaire" (1766), Voltaire disavowed this collection, stating that the texts had been corrupted by J.B. Robinet, the editor. Cf. Bengesco, G. Voltaire, II, no. 1725; for a detailed account of contents, cf. Bengesco, III, no. 1956.
