Distinguished from another 1755 Lambert ed. with identical collation (BN, no. 1348) by the absence on t.p. of Voltaire's name, lack of mention of price, and spelling "françoise" in Lambert's address. Title page ornament and most ornaments in sigs. A-B differ; some errata in the present ed. are corrected in BN no. 1348. Cf. BN; Besterman, T. Some eighteenth-century Voltaire eds. (4th ed.), 75.
