Claire van Vliet made the pulp paintings with Katie MacGregor in Whiting, Me. who also made the colored sheets and covers. The other papers are Twinrocker Lilac Wind & Barcham Green RWS, Nefertiti, Renaissance IV and Dover; the popups were executed by Audrey Holden, the chemise & slipcase by Judi Conant & Mary Richardson in Maidstone, Vermont. The Latin text is Rudolph Koch's Wallau & the English, Trump Mediaeval. The cover lettering is Cicrulus sapientiae in Hildegard's secret alphabet"--Colophon of booklet.
  • Popup book (31 x 15 x 10 cm.) is printed on one side of seven sheets of handmade paper, stitched together with paper strips, forming a strip, folded accordion-style. Unfolds to display 7 pop-ups, drawn from images in the hymns, against a background of pulp painting and the Latin text of the hyms. First page is stitched with paper strips to the salmon-colored paper covers, printed in shades of orange with a spiraling display of Hildegard's secret alphabet.
  • The popup book is housed in a multi-colored cloth chemise; the booklet, in salmon paper covers, is housed in a handmade paper pocket mounted inside front cover of chemise; the CD is housed in a pocket in the front cover of the booklet, in a sleeve of gold textured paper.
