Summary
Actor, dancer, and puppeteer Carl Harms discusses the highlights of his career, with emphasis on his decades touring with Bil Baird's puppet troupe, his wartime service on a cargo ship, his work on the ill-fated Broadway musical Flahooley (1951), and his experiences during television's early days. Mr. Harms has also been active in the administrative circles of Actors' Equity Association for over fifty years, and is the producer of a series of videotapes, of which this is one, documenting the careers of prominent A.E.A. members. No interviewer is present; Mr. Harms addresses the camera directly, speaking from notes.
