- Christopher Elam (ca. 7 min.) / topics include: how he began dancing ; starting to choreograph at the age of 14 ; his interest in human architecture, which led him to study with Pilobolus and Jonathan Wolken ; the formation of his company, Misnomer Dance Theater ; his studies in Bali in a cultural exchange program ; his sense of affinity with Balinese dance and his intent of incorporating its qualities in his own choreography ; planned projects in Brazil and Turkey.
