- The story of Madeleine Guipet, who became famous in 1904 as a "dream dancer," performing under hynopsis by Dr. Émile Magnin. Dr. Albert Freiherr von Schrenck-Notzing and other German psychologists studied and debated her performances, which for a time were compared to those of Isadora Duncan. When performing, Guipet was later called Madeleine G. or Magdeleine G.
