[The first ca. 8 min. of disc no. 15 continues the question and answer session of Symposium: Tap, Jazz, Social, and Street Dancing (*MGZTL 4-1195 nos. 18 and 19); questions are mainly inaudible.] Introduction of panelists: McKayle, Faison, Pomare, Beatty, De Lavallade, and Jones; each speaks in turn about his or her professional development and personal experiences as a dancer and artist. [Disc no. 15 ends abruptly with Jones.]
- Disc no. 16 (ca. 47 min.). Continues with Jones; brief remarks by Allen to conclude panel discussion; question and answer session including frank discussion of issues such as funding and opportunities for African American dance, political aspects of dance, and the term "black dance".
