Portraits of Communist party official and civil rights activist Claudia Jones consisting of an individual portrait of Jones, posing with a copy of William Z. Foster's book "Pages From a Worker's Life," at the time of her deportation hearings (ca. 1955); a view of Jones with an unidentified woman at an unidentified gathering (1949); and a view of Jones, with German actress Uta Hagen, discussing plans for a luncheon in New York sponsored by the American Committee for Protection of Foreign Born (ca. 1954). Includes identification photographs (mug shots).
