In an informal speech at a dinner party, Marika Besobrasova pays tribute to Rudolf Nureyev, praising his hard work, love for Russia, and enduring dedication to the Russian school of classical ballet. She emphasizes the Académie's aim of preserving his legacy. The following 2 min. of the tape depict views of St. Petersburg, taped by Tessa Kennedy on March 16, 1998. The footage includes a fleeting glimpse of Murray Louis.
