Bears discusses theatrical dance and the contribution of Joan Myers Brown to making ballet training available to African-American dancers. Rennie Harris discusses the development of a universal technique and philosophy in hip-hop dancing, and notes Latino influences on hip-hop. Tony Nieves discusses salsa dancing and its origins. Myra Bazell discusses how many different dance forms and ethnic cultures combine in her jazz dance teaching and choreography.
