Summary

A press release dated Dec. 12, 1980, describing a revised version of this work to be performed by Robert Kovich and Dancers, notes that: "Obstacle course/handicap was commissioned in 1977 by Le Plateau Bascule, a dance and theater group in Lyon, France. An episodic work, it is danced in silence, accompanied only by the sounds of the dancers' feet. This piece was revised and expanded in fall of 1980."
