Summary
Rehearsals of excerpts mainly from Acts I and II, out of sequence, with many interruptions and repetitions. The stepsisters' Act III duet is rehearsed at ca. 102 min. into the tape ; also, at 121 min., a man demonstrates a tap dance solo with a cane, probably the basis of Cinderella's Charlie Chaplin/Fred Astaire solo in Act I. Rudolf Nureyev, the ballet's choreographer, is rarely seen on camera for the first 1 1/2 hour, but appears more frequently after that, directing and sometimes demonstrating for the dancers.
