Ping Chong speaks about his family background; growing up in Chinatown; first meeting Meredith Monk and the group of artists with whom she was working; Monk's Needle-brain Lloyd and the systems kid and Vessel; the beginnings of his own work and the themes in which he was interested; various pieces of his including Fear and loathing in Gotham; the progression of major themes in his work; people with whom he worked; film and other influences on his art; the piece Paris/Chacon/Venice/Milan [Monk and Chong]; memories from travelling in Europe; the piece Raw recital [Monk and Preston]; more on Vessel; his issues with being in someone else's work or collaborating; collaborating with Monk on Games [Monk and Chong]; Monk's attitude toward her own creative process; the piece the Race and more on Games.
