All the calculations on the calendar pages, as well as the eclipse predictions, are identical with those in Father Tammany's almanac for 1805 (Philadelphia), which bears Sharp's name on the title page. Father Abraham's omits the column of time equations and adds one for the moon's southing. The astronomical notes on the calendar pages are also identical, with a few additions and an occasional omission. Issues from 1806 name Sharp as their calculator.
